Hi! I am an Associate Professor of Operations at Imperial Business School, Imperial College London. My research examines how pricing, information, and other incentive mechanisms shape performance in markets and operations. My recent projects focus on technology-enabled markets, including online platforms and AI-enabled services, as well as supply chains. Broadly, my research sits at the intersection of operations and economics, with a particular emphasis on mechanism/market design, and studies how firms and platforms should structure rules and incentives in the presence of self-interested participants.
I received a Ph.D. in Operations Management from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. I also hold a Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Toronto, and a Bachelor in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University.
To prospective students: I am looking for highly motivated PhD students and research assistants with strong mathematical training. If you are interested in working with me, please email me your CV, transcripts, and any other materials that would help demonstrate your research potential.
